Why Kiss Kiss?

‘Kiss Kiss Artisan Foods’ (previously Kiss Kiss Pastizzi) established in 2011, is in honour of Manuela's (Owner) late father Emanuel Sultana, who’s nickname is ‘Kiss Kiss’.  She discovered after he passed away in 1997, that being Maltese you are known by your family nickname rather than your surname, which makes her a Kiss Kiss too! It’s also tattooed on her back with a Maltese cross and angel wings as an expression of gratitude to a single dad who brought up three kids while driving long-haul semi trailers. Joining Manuela in building Kiss Kiss Artisan Foods are her daughters Gabrielle and Isabella.  Gabrielle is Production Manager and Isabella is Second in Charge.

Manuela runs her business based on the strong morals and values her father taught her and she is forever grateful for his existence in her life. All products are sealed with you guessed it a ‘Kiss’ Manuela’s imprint of her own lips is also the logo!

HACCP Certified Food Safety Program

Kiss Kiss Artisan Foods is a HACCP Certified Wholesale Business.  We meet or exceed our strict Food Quality Safety Management Program and take pride in implementing our procedures into our daily production.  We are audited annually, so our customers can be assured of product safety and integrity at all times.  We also do regularly lab testing of all products including dietaries and have a separate Gluten Free production kitchen, so you can be confident when purchasing our Gluten Free products that they are suitable for someone with Coeliac Disease.
